Settlement of Product Liability Case against UTV manufacturer

The law firm of Berger Lagnese & Paul, LLC settled a product liability case against a Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) manufacturer.  The plaintiff was rendered a quadriplegic after he was thrown from a UTV he was a passenger in.  The plaintiff died about a year after the accident.  The law firm alleged that the vehicle was dangerous because the vehicle’s accelerator and brake were too close together and because the ATV rolled over too easily.  A confidential settlement was reached in the case which was pending in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, PA.
